This is not your basic Minnie Mouse your inner child knows and loves. This is a Minnie that went on a killing spree, than came home to Mickey Mouse like nothing happened.
This was my first time using liquid latex as a medium. I never took the SPFX makeup coarse in college, only the basic makeup. Bare with my it was new to me (self taught), building this from tissues.
What you will need is liquid latex, tissues, facepaint, liquid blood, scab blood, eyeliner and red lipstick.
For the slashes I layed a thin layer of liquid latex in the area that I wanted. With a tissue pull it apart so you have a thin single sheet. place that over the latex, smoothing it out as you go. Rip away the excess tissue so it's only covering where you put the latex. Apply latex over the first tissue, then layer another thin piece of tissue over that one. Keep doing this till your about 5-6 layers in. Cover this in your skintone foundation to match your face
Once the final layer is dry start pulling from the middle in the shape of the slash that you want. As you lift up you will expose your normal skin underneath and have the tissue pulled up to look like skin peeling away
Now the fun part begins, use red facepaint, shadows and lipsticks to add varying colours of red in and around the gashes. Apply liquid blood around the outside and scab blood right in the centre of the cuts. You can also use black shadow to create depth.
For the eyes I kept it 1950's classic with a winged eyeliner, only adding scab blood under the eyes to look like scratches of a mouse
For the lips I used a bright red lipstick, and white facepaint to give them a cartoon look. On the nose was black eyeliner, set with black eyeshadow and white facepaint to mimic the cartoon look.
Add a pair of ears and you have yourself a killer Minnie Mouse. Make it a couples costume by dressing your better half as an equally gory Mickey Mouse. Carry a fake gun and you could be the Disney Bonnie and Clyde.
