Every summer I go back to Yves Saint Laurent lipstick shade Le Orange. This is the perfect mix of red orange tones to flatter almost every skin tone. Along with this lipstick I have paired some products that simply get over looked or I forget I own with all the makeup brands out there now a days. After doing a vanity clean out it left me with the idea to pull some long forgotten palettes and pair it with my summer staple. This is the look I created, listing all the products below and a Youtube tutorial, you can follow along to achieve it too.
YSL Le Orange number 13 ▸ this lipstick has a very nice sweet smell to it. The application is smooth and buttery while staying in place. I can not rave enough about the quality and conditioning this lipstick offers. Yes it's on a pretty high scale for price but it's worth it with these colours that are hard to match and just stand out. The last thing I would want is a cheaper lipstick similar looking that moves everywhere for the clown lip look. Give this a try and you will never want any other red orange shade in your collection.
Lip Liner is Rimmel London - Shade ( CALL ME CRAZY) ▸ it's the closest in my collection to matching the red orange shade. Plus it does a pretty good job at staying in place for a long period of time. The skinny twist up helps make a precise line and a straight one at that.
Watch below when posted for the tutorial walking you through the steps to this sunset ready look.
I was recently going through my makeup collection and came across The Balm's Balm Voyage palette. To be honest I completely forgot I owned it and feel the universe throws things at you when you need it. It has hit a scorcher here in Ontario leaving me with the feeling of a hot vaycay inspired makeup look. This palette has beautiful shades to add a pop of colour perfect for the beach or a resort in places like Bora Bora.
Here are all the products I used including my facial makeup. If you are looking for the how to on just the eyes and lips I will link my youtube video below.
